Hornbook Sampler Rug

Hello to all! I guess I am not keeping my New Years Resolution to blog more!! Filling many orders, as a matter of fact I am working on turkey rugs and more....lol!
I am loving this ticking wool, I used it in my tulips on this sampler rug! FUN!!
I found this little bit of wisdom the other day and thought I would share it! Not sure who came up with this one, but I love it~~! Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titantic. ~~~ Isn't that fun?? Bless you!! Cathy

That looks great! I assume hornbook refers to the shape....I have been to to get some info on the wooden ones. Do you ever mount work on those....how do you do it?Beth

Thanks everyone!! I love that quote!

I have mounted items on them with tiny nails and glue. I think I like the glue better.
